A legging so good, it became a brand.
It began with a single question: why couldn't a woman find a legging that fit beautifully, held its colour, and survived a hundred washes without losing its shape? In 2000, in the heart of Tiruppur - India's knitting capital - we set out to answer it.
The city had the craft. We brought the obsession. Our founders spent months perfecting the fabric blend, the stitch density, the waistband elasticity - every detail that a woman notices when she pulls on a pair of leggings in the morning and thinks, quietly, "yes, this is the one."
That first perfect legging gave birth to Morrio. The name comes from the local Marwar dialect, where morrio means peacock. Magnificent, colourful, and utterly Indian - it captured exactly who we wanted to be.
Over two decades, what started as one style grew into a full wardrobe. Churidars, capris, palazzos, linen straight pants, silky wide-legs, pyjama sets, dupattas. But the obsession never changed - every new piece had to earn its place by being genuinely, reliably, daily-wearably excellent.
